Indian textile and garment exporters feel things will not change immediately or much because of the U.S.-Bangladesh deal. Indian garment exporters will get similar access to the U.S. market as Bangladesh exporters, Mr. Goyal has said. However, Indian exporters still have a lot of unanswered questions, such as if the U.S.-India agreement does give Indian garment exporters a similar facility to the U.S. market, will the Indian government waive the import duty on U.S. cotton?
